A month ago, Smoke DZA managed to rope in Dom Kennedy for presenting his No Regrets single. Now, he chose to maintain the momentum with the release of “Big Steppa,” along with Westside Gunn and Curren$y. These two songs will appear on DZA’s The Hustler’s Catalog 2 project, which one can check out on June 4. In this track, Smoke DZA undertakes the role of tone-setting, while handling the opening verse.
Recently, Smoke DZA, Jayy Grams, Nym Lo, 183rd, and OT The Real associated to release their album R.F.C. Money Is The Motive, featuring nine tracks. The project includes appearances from names like Steven Young, Cory Gunz, and Numbers. Recently, Smoke DZA contributed to the new track “The Hurt Business” with Westside Gunn and Wale.
Westside Gunn released “Julia Lang” and “TV Boy,” with accompanying videos recently. Julia Lang’s video was directed by Revenxnt and starts with Gunn in the studio with Julia Lang. Gunn also contributed to Joyce Wrice’s recent debut album titled Overgrown.
A year ago, Curren$y released several great projects, involving great collaborations, such as The Tonite Show with Curren$y with DJ Fresh, Spring Clean with Fuse, and The Green Tape with Cardo.
