unnamed-1 South Carolina Rapper, Yung Meme, Dives into Complex Relationship on New Song, "Focus"

In the last few years we have seen several rappers emerge out of the Carolinas, from DaBaby and Toosii to Renni Rucci, Morray, Lil Mexico and more.

Yung Meme, a native of Columbia, South Carolina is working to be the next recording artist from the region to become a household name. After sharing his Red Moon Mountain EP less than a month ago, the independent artist returns today with a fresh new single titled “Focus.”

Produced by fellow Carolina native, Radical, the song finds Yung Meme trying to navigate through his feelings for a girl in this catchy, yet short tune.

“This song was inspired by this one girl that I know is into me and likes me. I like her as well but I do not want to hurt her in any way. The situation is very complicated,” Yung Meme shares with us.

Check out Columbia, South Carolina rapper, Yung Meme and his latest single, “Focus.” His energetic, and often grungy sound has taken him pretty far, previously having shared stages with DaBabyMegan Thee Stallion, Young Nudy, receiving a brand partnership with Brisk, and more.
