unnamed-15 South Carolina Rapper, Yung Meme Drops the Grunge-infused Single, "Amethyst"

Benton Breeden III or better known by his stage name Yung Meme, is a Hip Hop artist from Columbia, South Carolina. Mostly known for his hot track “Bubble” Yung Meme’s Raw energy and rage is what defines his upbeat, grungy, and diverse sound that’s continuing to propel him towards stardom. Shortly after his 2019 Apple Chill Festival performance, where he was an opening act for DaBaby and Megan Thee Stallion, Yung Meme put out his debut album “Planet Meme.” Since then, he has released three projects.

“Planet Meme” helped Yung Meme establish a name for himself, and build buzz around the Carolinas. Leveraging this momentum, Yung Meme got the opportunity to host his very own tour as an independent artist with no major co-sign. This tour put Yung Meme in the presence of very big names such as, Young Nudy, Radical, Fvck Gio, Dj ESudd, 2 Chainz, Bby Goyard, and more.

Following his hazy “Focus” release, South Carolina rapper Yung Meme returns with another banger titled “Amethyst.” The moody record finds Yung Meme crooning about a relationship turned sour and the heartbreak that soon followed.
“She picked up my heart and threw it in a trashcan/ That’s how these things go,” Yung Meme sings on the chorus.
