Bugzy-Malone "The Night After Halloween" is released as a freestyle by Bugzy Malone

Among the best lyricists in the UK and beyond, Bugzy Malone remains one of the most prominent. The Manchester star delivered the rewind-worthy bars that have made him a household name yesterday (Nov. 1) with a freestyle titled “The Night After Halloween.”

It gives the freestyle a raw energy that aligns with classic grime and hip hop cyphers, especially since Bugzy filmed it outside with his close associates without editing.

Last year, Bugzy Malone underwent a few serious experiences. The first came when he was seriously injured in a quad bike accident. The assault on his home and family a year after led to his arrest for two counts of wounding with the intention of inflicting grievous bodily harm. He was acquitted of the offenses a month later.

As part of his official return to the music scene last May, Bugzy released his sophomore studio album The Resurrection, which featured 15 tracks as well as contributions from Josh Berger, Emeli Sandé, Chip, and Dermot Kennedy, with whom he was involved in a highly publicized grime feud in 2015. Shortly after its release, The Resurrection peaked at number seven on the official album chart in the UK. He released his debut album, B. Inspired was released in 2018.
