Dread Woo, Brooklyn’s latest rising rhymer has just dropped off a new video for his song “Tom Brady.” Luxurious cars, a variety of dance styles, and a whole lot of Woo is featured in this hot new visual.

The flashy video comes as a homage to his loved ones who have passed away along with those who are incarcerated. Despite the fact that they aren’t around to celebrate with him, nevertheless he shows up in their honor! Focusing on the Woo way of life and all of its glory. Making his artistry that much more respected.

Dread Woo travels from one location to the next in this fast-paced video. He is first shown hanging out of a drag-racing whip, before switching scenes to being surrounded by all of his friends in a bodega. In the next scene, Dread establishes himself as a leader as he sits upon a blue throne holding a football. The Brooklyn emcee showcases the Woo’s brotherhood and bond. As well as how Dread Woo hasn’t forgotten about his brothers who have passed or are imprisoned.

Growing up in a Jamaican household as the youngest of five brothers in Canarsie, Brooklyn, Dread views his life as a “movie”. Although he faced the common trials and tribulations most people experience, his life played out like “scenes from a movie.” Fast forward to now, and his life is a reflection of his views. His music showcases his artistry and lifestyle like a short film.

Dread’s musical style is defined as a cross between drill and UK, with a heavy dose of “Woo.” He draws musical inspiration from artists like Meek Mill, 50 Cent, and Jay-Z. Along with the sounds of dancehall and reggae. Amongst one of his main influences is Pop Smoke, a fellow Woo member who showed him that anything is possible.

Dread’s long-term ambitions are to succeed and support his family. He aspires to create his own business and label, as well as to be able to clothe his loved ones. Not letting up after the release of his trendy track, “Tom Brady”, he is already working on new material. Stay tuned for more from Dread Woo.
