Multi talented emcee, Richie Richer is emerging
from Northside Queens, New York to the mainstream side of music. At an early age Richie developed a love and passion for music. His family and environment influenced his music selection as he grew up listening to the greats like Michael Jackson and Prince. He was raised on and inspired by timeless and substantial music.
Richie’s Rich Talent
Understanding the talent, hard work and dedication it takes to succeed in this industry, it allowed him to understand and develop his own artistry. In doing so, he began to listen to artists that influenced his sound like: 50 Cent, Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane. At the young and creative age of eight years old, he attempted to write his first rap song about his older sister. He would recite the lyrics to people in the neighborhood and just as much as he enjoyed doing it, they enjoyed listening to it. Fast forward a few years later, at the age of eleven, he recorded his first song in the studio.
Continuing his love for music on the strength of his thirst for knowledge, he leveled up. He decided to educate himself on how a musician creates authentic music after receiving positive feedback. This new found knowledge helped produce his debut project, his 2007 mixtape titled, The Takeova which was hosted by DJ Superstar Jay. Richie Richer is a diverse artist who writes, records and mixes all of his music. As a graduate of audio engineering, he has an advantage. It gives him an ear and understanding for sound and delivery by experimenting.
In 2019, he launched his independent recording label, Bankline Records. Under that label he dropped a compilation project called, Year of the Bank which in fact contributed to his buzz. His music style is made up of pattered witty rhymes paired with catchy hooks. His original sound is attributed to his particular distinct voice.
His ultimate career goal is to take his label, Bankline Records, to the next level and provide opportunities for other artists to excel. To close out a rough year for what seemed to be the world… Richie Richer gave fans a visual for his most recent release, “Bands Up”. What’s next? Well, he is currently working on his upcoming project titled, Pardon My Rich Behavior. As to be expected, Richie Richer’s next release comes as a follow-up project and he will continue to leave his distinctive mark in music as he climbs to the top.
