Today, award-winning musician Yung Bleu released his new EP “No, I’m Not Ok,” as a holiday gift for his fans and to express his gratitude for their support during his breakout year. The new project, which includes a collaboration with Grammy-winning singer Monica, is available to stream on all platforms via Vandross Music Group, Inc./EMPIRE HERE.
The release of “No, I’m Not Ok” comes after Bleu captured “Best New Artist” at the BET Soul Train Awards in November and “Best New Artist” at the BET Hip-Hop Awards in October. With the victories, Bleu became the first artist since Chance the Rapper in 2016 to secure both honors within the same calendar year.
Most recently, Bleu dominated his set at Rolling Loud LA festival, where he delivered a fiery performance on Day 1 of the three-day event. The Alabama-native also enjoyed another career highlight after Chris Brown brought him out during his set to perform their smash collaboration “Baddest.”
“No, I’m Not Ok” is the latest project to showcase Bleu’s versatility and comes six months after the release of his debut studio album, Moon Boy. The independent artist corralled a star-studded array of A-List collaborators, including Drake, John Legend, H.E.R, Kehlani, Big Sean, Chris Brown, Moneybagg Yo and more, to make an unprecedented statement for his first album.
Bleu also just dropped his new music for “Beautiful Lies feat. Kehlani,” which became the No. 2 most-added song at Urban & Rhythmic radio in early-November. The 27-year-old recently made his nationally-televised debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where he appeared on the couch for an interview and performed a medley of hits to punctuate a scorching, fourth-quarter in 2021.
Over the past year, Bleu solidified his rapid ascension by racking up over 1 billion streams across all streaming platforms.
