NORTH PHILLY NATIVE TJ ATOMS STAR OF ‘WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA’ ANNOUNCES HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE FOR PHILADELPHIA-BASED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Today, North Philadelphia-born, critically-acclaimed artist and actor TJ Atoms announces a special holiday toy drive for Kenderton Elementary School— the same primary school that TJ himself attended growing up. The momentous give-back will take place just in time for the holiday season on December 21, 2021, to present approximately 400 students in varying grades, ranging from kindergarten to 4th grade, with a special gift.

TJ shares, “Kenderton is home to me. I still have fond memories that I’ll continue to remember and cherish from my time there. It’s all about the children of today and tomorrow, and it means so much that I’m able to give back to my community right in time for the holidays.”

Gearing up for the festive occasion, toy donation drop-off centers have already started to collect a range of toys for the students of Kenderon. Local businesses native to the greater Philadelphia area, such as Nirvana Health and Beauty, Abundant Chiropractic, Kiwi Nails Fishtown, and more are participating as toy drop-off centers as Philadelphia radio stations Power 99 FM and more have amplified the community give-back on a greater scale.

TJ Atom’s latest music release, “Potato Chips,” speaks to themes of unification and upliftment native to his life principles —ideas that he is set to exemplify for the community of Kenderon on December 21, 2021.
