Bandmanrill is one of the fastest-growing faces in the New York/New Jersey drill rap scene. His prior releases such as “Close Friends” and “I Am Newark” has built great anticipation for the release of his Club Godfather mixtape. His signature sound of aggressive vocals over traditional Jersey Club beats is the style that makes him the self-proclaimed Club Godfather.
The thirteen-track mixtape features another rising drill rap star Sha Ek on the songs “Jiggy In Jersey” and “Who You Touch.” Their collaboration of “Jiggy In Jersey” has been spotlighted on playlists from Spotify, Soundcloud, and Amazon Music. Club Godfather also contains a feature from NLE Choppa on “Bouncin’”. “Bouncin’” focuses on the story of making something from nothing over a jazzy horn instrumental. Bandmanrill discusses how he overcame people who prayed for his downfall. There are also features from rappers Skaiwater and Lay Bankz.
The producers most involved with the project are Mcvertt and EMRLD. He has a history of working with Mcvertt as he produced most of Bandman’s work for the last two years. Bandmanrill did a lot of work with Alau out of his studio Off Records as well.
