With his latest single, “Taking Off” out now, BFM Cooley is that artist if you are looking for a versatile sound. Whether it is with a single or mixtape, BFM Cooley is continuing to record and work to provide more music. Being an independent artist, he describes it as being more complicated because one does not really have the solid foundation to build with, that it is more expensive and even having money is still a hassle because you are going to lose way more than gaining before one actually finds the right team and sources to build with, however he points out that, “It may take a lil more time but long as you consistent the right team with find you though.”
When it came to working with EST GEE and Reazy Renegade, he states that working with Gee was a straight up vibe, that it was cool to just have the opportunity to work with an artist that was going number one at the time. Additionally, working with Renegade was cool for him too because he always heard his tags on big songs but never figured they would put something together how they did. When asked, he said his top 3 artists that he would want to work with would probably be Icewear Vezzo, MoneyBagg Yo, and Future, with producers also such as Tay Keith, Metro Booming, and 808 Mafia.
He also stated that at the age of 11, he was playing around, that his inspiration was thelifestyle of watching artists that was already popping. In the next five years , he saw himself as a top statistic and that any business that he is running is going to be popping.
His next move is mainly making the way to keep his label going and relevant, building his brand and anything that comes with it. He states that he has a lot of people relying on him and cannot stop even if he wanted to, even if he did want to stop, he knows that he has many responsibilities so quitting is not an option. He states, “I’m not comfortable where I’m at and not settling for less I got a lot of work to put in and the genuine love around me is also what keeps me going.”
