Ar-Rasheed S. Brisco Jr. is an entrepreneur and musician from Rahway, NJ. His latest release “Vibes Never lie…right?” got the attention of many with the smooth melodies and rhythms that listeners put in many Instagram reels. On the latest episode of his podcast, he previewed a snippet of a new single that began to stir up a commotion.

He was in the middle of changing from one topic to the next and jokingly played one line that started to have listeners commenting. “Passport therapy won’t help you escape accountability,” is all that was played over some drums. That’s all it took for people to start choosing sides of what they thought the line was saying or who it was aimed at.

Ar-Rasheed continued to speak on the podcast and started to explain the line after playing it. “What a line, I can’t wait until you all hear the rest of it. That line isn’t about anyone specifically; but if the shoe fits, rock that thing baby.” In a since-deleted Instagram post, he played a reel with the same snippet and captioned it “tag who needs to hear this.” Immediately the comments showed how much the people were invested.

This snippet is becoming a full song, which will be released this summer. He spoke about the direction of this song, which he hopes to put on to a full-length project this fall. His discography to this point has been introspective and thought-provoking, it’s right on brand for him to continue with his next release being about “Passport Therapy.”
