Bold and braggadocious hip-hop rising star Dess Dior returns with her newest single offering “Stone Cold”. The rhythmic, soulful production creates a pleasant contrast with the track’s flippant, confident lyricism. Dess is joined by fellow artist Mariah the Scientist, who adds a sensual vocal and sense of swagger to the already smooth track. “Stone Cold” is the first single off of Dess Dior’s upcoming mixtape “RAW”.
“Stone Cold” is built around a glittery, glossy synth foundation, strengthened by powerful percussion and engaging vocal performances. Dess finds a perfect mixture of confidence and charisma in the track’s lyrics as she calls out past partners who have claimed to miss her while putting in no effort to see her. “Stone Cold” is all about leveling up and moving on, leaving the past in the past, and having fun while doing it.
The release of the forthcoming EP, “RAW,” will be her next step in proving that she is on a mission to be the last girl standing, that girl, Dess Dior.
