After dropping his latest project Life Is Beautiful a few years ago, Powers Pleasant has recently released another batch of songs with big collaborations from Buddy, Joey BADA$$, G Perico, Jay Critch, Denzel Curry, IDK, ZillaKami, and more. In the years since, the Pro Era producer and DJ has crafted beats for some of the biggest songs in the industry including Rich Brian “Getcho Mans,” Lonr. “Unruly,” City Morgue “THE ELECTRIC EXPERIENCE,” Princess Nokia “Just A Kid,” $NOT “Sangria,” Denzel Curry “Zatoichi,” and Sampa The Great “Lane.”
Powers Pleasant has announced the release of a new single entitled “Overseas,” produced by Jonnywood. The track features Kenny Mason, Bas, Maxo Kream, and Erick The Architect. Each side boasts about haters, vices, women, and more in the track:
“Overseas” is also paired with an accompanying visual, designed by FakeDell, which provides additional insight into the circumstances under which the video was created. Powers had the crew shoot the video in three different cities over the course of just two days. In the remaining part of the video, Powers traverses Atlanta, Houston, and Los Angeles, connecting along the way with his rapidly revolving group of collaborators.
