Growing up in Oakland, Fortune Noco’s upbringing wasn’t the easiest. He had to become resilient through all the commotion, focused on being a good example as the oldest of four kids. He began writing music at about 13 years old, around the same time his childhood friend was slain in a violent incident in Oakland. Motivated to keep his friend’s name alive in his music, Fortune Noco set out on a musical journey from that moment forward. His focus is relating to his fans and giving a voice to those who feel lost or alone like he once did. Inspired by Drake, Russ, and Chris Brown, Fortune Noco’s music is melodic while still holding lyrical value. His latest drop, “Big Moves” was released May 21st and features three incredible singles. With all the buzz being created, Fortune Noco is gearing up for his next release and debut album, writing and producing daily with his team. With no date set as of yet, he assures fans it’ll be worth the wait.
