3x Grammy-nominated, Diamond-certified recording artist, humanitarian and entrepreneur French Montana drops new single “Whipp’n It Slowly” via Coke Boys Records. Featuring a sample from hit “Killing Me Softly With His Song” by the Fugees, Montana taps back into his original sound as seen from early mixtape series Coke Wave with Harlem Rapper Max B and track “Return of The Mack” produced by legendary hip-hop producer Harry Fraud.
Montana jumps on “Whipp’n It Slowly” with a lighthearted remixed rendition singing, “Coke Boys, still tryna line us, can’t find us, Coke Boys, come find us.” Over the classic 90’s hip-hop beat, Montana nostalgically raps on his trapper lifestyle that built the foundational support of his hometown of the South Bronx. He says, “I’m from the South Bronx where you really have to rhyme. Let me remind them, whole city behind him whip whip way before they signed him.” Unstoppable till this day, “Whipp’n It Slowly” spiritedly captures as a Coke Boys themed anthem establishing Montana’s Cocaine City imprint and record label empire.
The single follows Montana earning the RIAA Diamond certification for his hit single “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee becoming the first African-Born and South Bronx artist to achieve this status. He recently launched a joint venture with the Guardian Recovery Network, which extends access to addiction treatment for privacy-sensitive clients through the creation of their new joint-venture, NAQI Healthcare offering in-home and private accommodation detoxification services for clients in the major states of Florida, New York, Texas, and California.
