During our conversation with Leilani, we were fortunate to discover many unique characteristics about her which we are excited to tell and share with everyone.
Leilani was born in Illinois, Chicago. She was determined to become a singer from the age of five. Every artist has a creative process behind every project he or she creates. It takes a lot of hard work, consistency, and patience to produce a song with catchy beats and hardcore writing skills.
The Chicago- based artist highlighted the whole process behind her music. Initially, she starts with the beats then begins free-styling over the production. This is one such factor an artist should keep in mind, and Leilani is very serious about it. Besides, she reviews her freestyling to see whether the words are able to cultivate the general message that she wants to convey through her music.
Asking about her most favourite project she has ever worked on, Leilani mentioned that she enjoyed making her recent project named “Last Strike”. The music video is so elegant and dope at the same time where she depicts her toxic relationship and the way she dumped her partner later. The music video is so classy and it’s a pleasure to see Leilani. Her beauty is top-shelf.
Leaving us with solid advice, she also adds that any upcoming artist should always know how to conquer the industry by keeping a few points into consideration. Leilani said,
“You’re no longer just a person when pursuing your artistry. You are a business, a corporation. Be sure to market yourself properly, research your market and target audience. Keep track of your insights, engagement, and growth. Learn how to monetize your platforms.”
