Today, Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist Lloyd Banks announced the release of his new single “Fell in Love,” which is currently available to stream on all platforms HERE via Money By Any Means Inc./EMPIRE and will appear on his forthcoming album, The Course of the Inevitable 2.
On “Fell in Love,” Banks unleashes bombastic lyrics and delivers a melodic hook over a beat produced by Fortnoxx. It marks the second single that the Queens native has released from The Course of the Inevitable 2, as he released “Menace (feat. Conway The Machine)” in late June.
The Course of the Inevitable 2 album is now available for pre-order HERE and Banks recently unveiled the artwork for the project on his Instagram. Most recently, Banks also announced that he will be making his return to the stage and performing at Sony Hall on July 15.
The new album serves as a sequel to 2021’s The Course of the Inevitable, which debuted at No. 84 on the Billboard 200 and included guest appearances from Benny The Butcher, Styles P, Freddie Gibbs, Vado, Roc Marciano, and Sy Ari Da Kid. It signaled Banks’ first full-length album release in 11 years and the first since he dropped The Hunger for More 2 in 2010.
The Course of the Inevitable 2 will add a new chapter to Banks’ storied legacy, which includes delivering hits like “On Fire,” “Karma” and “I’m So Fly,” earning a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with his debut offering, securing a Grammy nomination for Best Solo Rap Performance and shining as part of the iconic G-Unit supergroup.
