In the summertime, Snoop Dogg unveils some brand new music to welcome the warmer months. His latest track “Touch Away,” featuring an assist from October London, was released this week, and it finds Snoop in his comfort zone with his witty bars over a funky, feel-good beat:

It was just announced that Snoop Dogg will be buying Death Row Records, the record label through which he launched his career in the 1990s. After the dissolution of Suge Knight, N.W.A and Dr. Dre established the label, which helmed Dre’s first solo album, The Chronic, as well as Snoop Dogg’s critically acclaimed album, Doggystyle. In order to possess his masters, Snoop wanted to purchase the company, but after the purchase was announced, he went back and acquired not only his masters but every artist’s masters that were under the label during that period as well.
