Explains RealestK “Dreams 2 Reality came from my manifestation process within my career so far. 8 months prior to signing and releasing “WFM”, I got my first tattoo which says Dreams 2 Reality because it represents my manifestation of chasing my dreams and making them come to life. Every time I look at that tattoo, it clicks in full circle.”
With an emotional connection to music, RealestK’s in-tune with his feelings have nurtured his entire life. The son of Lebanse immigrants, he grew up watching his father, a construction worker, moonlight as an Arabic singer. While songs from 50 Cent, Eminem, Michael Jackson, and Nas played on consistent rotation in his house thanks to his older brother, there were two newcomers that were also from his hometown that captured K’s vision of true artistry —Drake and The Weeknd. Admiring the heartfelt yet deft lyricism and raw glimpses into human vices, K used that skill to create his own story using those same elements that captured him as a true R&B lover. While taking advantage of the COVID-19 lockdown’s audience, K released his song “SWM” striking a chord with fans who gravitated to his melancholy yet gentle style. The song’s sequel “WFM” climbed even higher, almost immediately amassing millions of streams, and going viral on social platforms including Instagram & TikTok.
