From May 20th – 22nd, AFROPUNK will host PLANET AFROPUNK Live: Miami at The Urban in Miami’s historic Overtown neighborhood. Their latest endeavor will be an exciting multicultural experience that expands on their mission for the empowerment and advancement of Black voices through music, art, community and commerce.
Amongst the incredible lineup is stand-out Jamaican artist Skillibeng. In 2019 he released his breakout single, “Brik Pan Brik” and has been an unstoppable force ever since. His relentless ambition and undeniable talent have garnered him a strong fan base across the globe. This will be Skillibeng’s first official performance in the US since he’s dropped an incredible onslaught of music that effortlessly bridges the gap between trap and dancehall. His trademark sound has captured audiences worldwide, including Nicki Minaj, who remixed his track “Crocodile Teeth.”
This initial performance at Planet AFROPUNK Miami: Live will launch the beginning of Skillibeng’s North American tour dates.
