The song’s glitchy keys pulsate through an anxious beat as he charges forward with a pummeling flow. He tears right through the production with the hook, “Fuck with me, bitch imma go Godzilla.” Breathing fire, the track illuminates his uncanny power to fuse searing screams and incisive rhymes over a tense phonked-up trap-style soundscape.
A few months back, he linked up with Las Vegas upstart 1nonly on the collaborative banger “Step Back!” With a guest feature and production by Sxmpra, it has already garnered over 15 million Spotify streams in addition to inspiring critical applause. Right out of the gate, Lyrical Lemonade declared, “Sxmpra even spits the second verse, showcasing an impressively shrill cadence that is as quick yet articulate as I could’ve ever wished for” and promised, “you will definitely find yourself bumping this track on repeat as soon as you’re done with your first listen.” Additionally, he linked up with lilbubblegum for the Luga-produced “CASH RULES,” clocking over half-a-million streams and counting thus far.
Last year, Sxmpra gained significant traction with “COWBELL WARRIOR!” It has gathered over 45 million Spotify streams and 50k videos on TikTok, cementing it as his most recognizable anthem to date.
