Antwan “Amadeus” Thompson, a Multi-Platinum Bad Boy/Hitmen Music Producer, MD/Drummer for Trey Songz; Hip-Hop’s Publicist/ Author-Lynn K. Hobson; and Actress/Author, Trina Stackhouse have collaborated to publish THE STORY OF AMADEUS AND THE BEAT GOES ON, a book which captures the journey of one of the hottest music producers in the industry. As a first-time young adult author, Amadeus, teamed up with two veteran authors who established their publishing company, Hobson Publishing House. They established their publishing company after they co authored several books along with writing their own life stories. During the pandemic, Amadeus had time to reflect on his life and felt the urgent need to share his story with the world. As a motivational speaker and now author, Amadeus has launched a national book tour where he has been sharing his story with the youth. Although the book was written with the young reader in mind, it is appealing to all ages as he inspires readers to go after their dreams and make it happen.

THE STORY OF AMADEUS AND THE BEAT GOES ON gives a riveting perspective on the makings of the music producer who became an intricate part of the Hitmen under Sean “Puffy” Combs of Bad Boy Records in the iconic era of the 90’s. Amadeus has also produced musical hits for Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Trey Songz, Mike Jones, 50 Cent; 50’s G-Unit, T.I., Lil Wayne and Jeezy to name a few. His musical background stems from his parents who influenced his passion for making beats from their Saturday morning jam sessions. Growing up in one of the roughest neighborhoods in the Bronx, known as the “Nine”, Amadeus turned to music to keep off the streets. His first major break into the music industry as a producer came with Foxy Brown’s, Cradle to The Grave hit which landed on the soundtrack of the blockbuster movie, Cradle To The Grave starring the legendary late rapper, DMX and actor Jet Li. The rest became history after that…and this is THE STORY OF AMADEUS AND THE BEAT GOES ON.
About the Authors
Antwan “Amadeus” Thompson continues to produce music with some of the industry’s hottest artist while touring with Trey Songz as his musical director (MD) and drummer. Amadeus also has a weekend residency with Drai’s Nightclub of Las Vegas as a drummer. Amadeus resides in Brooklyn, NY and he manages to hold it down as a father to two beautiful children, Antwan Jr., and Ariana.
Lynn K. Hobson affectionately known as “Money Lynn,” is the co-owner of Hobson Pushing House. She is a publicist to the Hip-Hop community and small minority owned businesses and a professor. Additionally, she is also the powerhouse of the “Money Lynn Pop-Up Shop & Expo”.
Trina A. Stackhouse an actress, motivational speaker and author is the co-owner of Hobson Publishing House has written and produced for celebrities behind the scenes. She spends her time with her son Cash and spearheading programs around the youth in urban cities to help with the gun violence epidemic.
