1.It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m a kid raised in the city of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs mainly on the southside. I’m 20 years old and grew up listening to all kinds of music fueling my passion for rapping and becoming a real artist. I’m a student of the game and I apply what I learn from others to my own work to push me forward, and my constant research on how to reach more audience for listeners to become fans and those fans coming to my shows so how do I get here today? Is from hard work, studying the game and being the best artist I can be
2.I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I had to overcome the doubts, the songs that didn’t do so well like others and realized not everything is gonna pop. I had to put more faith in the work that I create instead of putting myself down after something doesn’t work out well. I didn’t have many people supporting me coming up so the ones who were is special to me and kept me motivated and pushing;
3.Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I’m a lyricist. I have a great ear for beats in my opinion, I think I’m one of the best at making songs come together and have it sound like an actual finished work instead of something you cut short or you keep it going for too long. I’m pretty easy to work and laid back so it’s never anything too much to deal with coming from me.
4.What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Keep pushing towards your goal. I won’t be vague with people like others. You would have to research the things you need to do to get better at whatever it is you’re trying to succeed at. Nothing will fall in your lap you have to make the moves and sacrifices in order to get where you need to be
5.Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success means you strive for something.. a goal in your life that you put 110% percent into and do not stop until you accomplish that goal. Whatever it is, it don’t even have to be career wise it can be a family goal something that means a lot to you and you put the effort in to make happen that’s what a successful person is to me
6.What’s next for you?
My next project. I’m expecting this to be my last independent album for awhile as I have partnerships and situations being settled on as we speak and moving forward
I have been going broke and making money back trying to finish and make this album the best I can and this’ll be my first main genre: Underground Rap album. I’ll showcase my skills as an artist, a poet, a visionary and simply for people to see that I am what I say I am. I did not come to play around in the rap game but to elevate it and leave anybody who ain’t on that same type of mindset behind
7.Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?
I’m available on all social media platforms so give me a shout if you ever try to work, collab, partner on something. I’m here to take care of business and build my brand on top of everything!
