“Need to be motivated intrinsically.”
“Most people in the industry are cap.”
“You learn the most through experience.. turn your L’s into lessons instead of losses.”
What does success look like to you?
“Few ways to look at it. I would consider this a success if I could go back to the hood I grew up in, and have enough influence to inspire the youth to be their best selves instead of giving in to their surroundings. Hold my whole family down and put them in a position to succeed based on the brand. Put my city on the map for real.
What would you say is the #1 key to success in pursuing music?
“Silencing the outside noise and being true to yourself. Seems like the ones that really have longevity in this, the ones tryna fit or be someone they’re not, are here today then gone tomorrow. “
What keeps you going when things get tough in your music career?
“Coming from tough beginnings taught me resilience.”
Would you stay independent or sign to a major label?
“Whatever I need to do to get where I’m going, I’m with.”
What projects are you working on for 2023 and beyond?
“I definitely have a new project dropping in 2023 with some big collaborations. I’ve been working on this unique body of work for a while now. More music, more content, more moves to be made.”
