Music artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania recently dropped multiple singles, including “No safety” where he talks about being homeless and trying to make it to the top of the music industry. With the music industry in shambles because of changes in the landscape and a variety of artist, losing their lives behind the lyrics, Joshdifferent has taking a different approach by using his life experiences to motivate others and show them they can make it from the bottom to the top.
Joshdifferent or Joshua Blackwell was born and raised in Philadelphia, and at the age of 26 he traveled to Las Vegas with only $40 in his pocket according to the video he made on YouTube. And only about four months in Las Vegas. He travel to a small town in Idaho, where he ended up becoming homeless, only having a duffel bag but made multiple videos for Tiktok Instagram in YouTube to tell people to keep going. With support from online friends, Joshdifferent found a temporary place to stay. This put him in position to save for a vehicle, and then he took a trip to Los Angeles California to live in his car and chase his music dreams.
While living in his car, joshdifferent continue to create content for all platforms in video form, and also create a domestic studio in his car so he can still frequently drop music on Spotify, YouTube music and more.
Joshdifferent is currently traveling around California recording music, creating content for TikTok and YouTube while Motivating other people, and showing them that you can make it through anything, homelessness, dysfunctional families, the trap of the hood and so on.
