Philadelphia-based R&B songstress Kenya Vaun is warming things up with her new single “Summer”– out today! The track is an ode to a New York summer romance, sure to evoke a feeling of escapism as we count down the days until blue skies, sunshine, and poolside parties. “Summer” is reminiscent of a carefree fling, featuring Kenya’s signature raspy vocals and soulful lyrics that will touch every listener.
“Summer” comes off the back of Kenya’s recent single “Overrated”, released earlier this year. “Overrated” captured her fervent vocals on a glossy guitar loop while guiding us through a rocky love story.
