Rapstar Chingy from St. Louis stopped by the podcast I Only Touch Greatness in Vancouver Canada of an interview with Ryan Haze and his co hosts. They get into all the good stories from Chingy’s Career.
The show starts off talking about how he was raised and growing up in St. Louis and how he was always out mastering his craft. That he was always one of the first rappers out of St. Louis. He talks about the early days before he was named Chingy.
Chingy talks about his idols growing up and how his first idol was Eazy- E and how the westcoast brought gangs to St. Louis.
He talks about his song Right Thurr and his beef with Nelly back then, and goes on to talk about his Jackpot album, and how it did so well while he was signed to DTP and Ludacris.
He tells the story of the time that 50 Cent wanted him to be a part of G- Unit and how that convo went.
Chingy also breaks down his new album Chinglish and the songs Rewind Time. He talks about how him and tyrese first met and got to working on music, before telling a great story about his experiences with Nate Dogg, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson and many other good stories.
In the full interview he is asked about how he squashed the beef with Nelly and Ludacris.
He also talks about his tour he was on with MYA and how amazing she is also.
