The rising Boston-based duo of Sos & Zay — better known as Trenchkidds — continue to build their buzz with a brand-new banger, “Perc Talk,” which features additional vocals by JMD over the trunk-rattling track supplied by Manu Productions.
The song arrives following the success of their two other summer singles, “My Truth” and “In My Bag,” which also had their own distinctive sound. Whereas those songs leaned into melodic and somber tones, respectively, “Perc Talk” is a braggadocious and menacing slapper that shows off both Trenchkidds’ ability to spit.
The verses are packed with clever boasts and mini-narratives laced with threats at their opps. It’s yet another promising showing from these two artists whose future continues to look bright as we await their debut release.
