The New 1017 signee Li Rye just released the video for his new single “Hey Sexyy”!
The video was directed by TAEGXN and shows the Mobile, AL native rapping bravado lyrics at the gas station and transitions to Rye partying in the studio as he’s surrounded by girls while going off about his opps. The video for “Hey Sexyy” comes after the release of the visuals to the track “Casualty” which accumulated over 1 million YouTube views in just three weeks!
In December, Li Rye dropped his debut album on 1017, Li Rye vs. Li Reezy, which tells the tale of his battle between both of his personalities. While Li Rye represents his calm persona, Li Reezy “likes to turn up all the time.” Li Rye vs. Li Reezy features 19 tracks and includes the previously released singles “All Alone,” “Li Rye vs LiReezy,” “Rookie Of The Year,” and “Broke Asf.”
Since signing to 1017, Li Rye has been prolific with his music releases and shows no signs of slowing down. The Mobile, AL native’s debut album comes off the heels of his debut mixtape, Go Li Rye, released last summer along with the deluxe offering Go Li Rye Part III. The debut mixtape has currently garnered 35M+ US streams to dare and stand out single “Rental Cars” peaked at #6 on Spotify’s Local Pulse New Orleans Chart.
Additionally, the “Rental Cars” sped-up sound on TikTok has surpassed 13M views and counting. Whether it’s Rye’s aggressive flow, heartfelt lyrics, or confidence in his tone, he continues to solidify his place in the rap scene with over 48M+ US streams and 36M+ YouTube views thus far.
