Cynthia Hendricks, known in the music world as Cynae TheGoddess, has carved a remarkable niche for herself in the heart of Dallas, Texas. Raised in the vibrant cultural tapestry of Dallas, Cynae has always been a creator at heart. A true Renaissance woman, her talents span from cooking and singing to abstract painting, crocheting, and writing both music and poetry.
Her journey to stardom began in 2007 when she auditioned for American Idol at the Old Cowboys Stadium in Irving, Texas. Reflecting on the experience, Cynae recalls, “This was one of the best experiences of my life.” It was there she discovered that the glitzy life of a mainstream artist wasn’t her true calling. Instead, she found her passion in nurturing others’ talents. “Helping others reach their highest potential brings me more joy than singing ever did,” she declares.
Cynae channeled this newfound passion into studying the music industry and working closely with emerging artists. She offered vocal training, stage presence guidance, songwriting assistance, and performance coaching, becoming a pivotal figure in many artists’ careers.
A significant transformation in her life came when she embraced veganism, a lifestyle change she credits with enhancing her well-being. By 2021, Cynae had ascended to the role of Chief of Music for The MTS Network. Here, she launched “Free Flow Fridays,” a show dedicated to spotlighting raw, local talent and providing them a platform to shine.
Now, in 2024, Cynae TheGoddess stands as an unstoppable force in the industry. Her show, now in its third season, features deep dives into the lives and works of creatives like Honey Banks, KAMPGANG, and rising star Jai Humble. The show also boasts interviews with prominent figures in the film industry such as Corey Pratt, Jarric Tucker, and Juanita Rain Willis, showcasing a blend of talents from various fields.
In her latest role as Chief of Operations with The MTS Network, Cynae expands her influence further. She conducts red carpet interviews at concerts, fashion shows, and prestigious award ceremonies.
Not stopping there, Cynae has become an A&R for PackAPunch Records and a model. With aspirations of becoming an actress. Accepting roles as an extra in independent films streaming on Tubi and Amazon Prime.
