Luke ATME has never been one to fit neatly into a box. As an artist, he defies conventional labels, dancing between genres, blending cultures, and creating music that speaks to the soul. But with his latest EP, Sin Filtros, the singer-songwriter is taking his authenticity to the next level. This project is not just an evolution in sound—it’s a declaration of self.
For Luke, music has always been about connection. From performing at Pride events in Munich, London, and Madrid to earning accolades such as the Golden Award for ‘Song of the Year’ and the AAA4Success Award for ‘Artist of the Year,’ his journey has been one of resilience and passion. Yet, despite his success—including two number-one singles on the Upcoming 100 Emerging Artists chart and over a million views on YouTube—his path has been anything but easy.
“I’ve had to navigate this industry on my own, learning how to manage my career without the backing of a major label,” Luke shares. “It’s challenging when you’re up against an industry that often prioritizes profit over artistry. But I’ve realized that staying true to myself is the only way forward.”
That realization pulses through Sin Filtros, a four-track journey through love, desire, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Recorded in Madrid and performed in both Spanish and Italian, the EP marks a pivotal moment in Luke’s career. It’s his boldest, most uninhibited work yet—both lyrically and visually.
The EP opens with Tóxico, a hauntingly relatable anthem about love that burns too bright to be denied. “It’s easy to blame someone else for a relationship’s downfall,” Luke explains. “But finding imperfections in others doesn’t make anyone perfect. Love can be messy, even toxic, but it’s also raw and real.”
Then comes Sin Dormir, a track that shifts into high-energy dance vibes, capturing the rush of an electrifying connection. “It’s about those moments that are so intense, time seems to slip away,” he says. “It’s seductive, fun, and unapologetic—just like the entire EP.”
But No Es Fácil takes a more introspective turn, delving into Luke’s personal struggles. Over a laid-back, rap-infused beat, he reflects on the challenges that have shaped him. “This song is deeply autobiographical,” he admits. “It took me a long time to get here, and I want people to know that it’s okay to struggle—as long as you keep moving forward.”
The journey culminates with Fuori Menù, a groundbreaking moment for Luke. Sung in both Spanish and Italian, it’s his first release in his native language. “This song is my turning point,” he says. “It’s about reclaiming confidence, embracing who I am, and realizing that no one else gets to define my worth.”
At its core, Sin Filtros is more than an EP—it’s a statement. It’s Luke ATME standing in the spotlight with no filters, no facades, and no compromises. “I spent years trying to be what people expected,” he reflects. “But this time, it’s different. This time, I’m giving all of myself—criticism and judgment be damned.”
As he looks ahead, Luke dreams of touring the world, collaborating with artists across genres, and continuing to push the boundaries of his creativity. But no matter where his journey takes him next, one thing is certain: he will always be unapologetically himself.
