Anderson .Paak is continuing one of the busiest and most creative runs of his career with the release of K-POPS! (Music from and inspired by K-POPS! Motion Picture), a new 17-track project tied to his upcoming Netflix film K-POPS!. While connected to the movie, the release feels far bigger than a traditional soundtrack, bringing together artists from across hip-hop, R&B, and K-pop for a globally influenced project that blends multiple sounds into one cohesive experience. The album arrives just ahead of the film’s debut on Netflix this weekend, marking another major moment in .Paak’s expanding creative catalog.
The project features a wide range of collaborators including JID, G-DRAGON, aespa, NMIXX, DEAN, Jay Park, JO1, CHUNG HA, and SOYEON of i-dle, with .Paak serving as one of the driving creative forces throughout the album. One of the standout records, “Caution” featuring NMIXX, arrives alongside a new music video and continues the genre-blending direction heard across the project. Fans were also previously introduced to tracks like “Aftertaste” with DEAN and “Keychain” featuring aespa, both helping build anticipation leading into the release. Beyond the collaborations, the album also includes appearances from .Paak’s son Soul Rasheed, who makes his musical debut on the project.
