Out Thursday, August 20, 2026, it is the headline single from her forthcoming album LOSER, due December 2026 — and it takes the grief of outgrowing the person you used to be and shines it until it looks like something worth wanting.
The British artist, now living in Los Angeles, is not asking for sympathy. “LOSER” is a breakup song with the self — the kind you sing when you look in the mirror and realise the person staring back is no longer the one you promised to become. She calls herself the loser and then delivers the line with perfect hair and a guitar loud enough to drown out the old voice in her head. The contradiction is the point. She is the one who lost herself, and she is also the one holding the camera, choosing the lighting, writing the ending.
What makes it land is how little she flinches. The song moves through the specific indignities of becoming a stranger to yourself — the self-destruction, the isolation, changing your appearance to become somebody else, saying things you do not mean, wondering whether any of it gets better — and refuses to sand any of it down. It is funny in the way that being at your worst is funny six months later. It is also, quietly, devastating.
“LOSER” opens on someone who “used to be a god” — the person who commanded a room, knew exactly who they were, seemed destined for something bigger. What follows is the unravelling, told without a filter and without the tidy redemption arc. The title becomes almost an accusation — “you’re nothing but a loser now” — but the song ultimately refuses to leave its protagonist there. In its final moments, Nicole repeats “I’m on your side,” transforming the track from a story about failure into something far more vulnerable: an act of loyalty toward someone who has lost their way.
The sound
Pop-rock with the paint still wet. “LOSER” was produced with Los Angeles–based multi-platinum producer Mher Filian (Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, LP), who recorded the track to tape and let the warmth, the imperfections and the physical texture of analog stay exactly where they landed. Guitars up front, vocals close enough to be uncomfortable, nothing scrubbed clean.
The decision to record to tape became part of the emotional language. Rather than smoothing away every imperfection, Nicole and Filian embraced the physical character of the process — a refined production sensibility applied, deliberately, to a mess.

Sonically she lives between pop-rock, alternative and grunge, with echoes of the confessional intensity of LP, Wolf Alice, Hole, Alanis Morissette and Garbage. But LOSER is less interested in recreating an era than in capturing the emotional messiness of growing up, changing, and realising that the person you thought you would become may not be the person you are.
The album

That creative relationship continues beyond the album. Jones is also set to collaborate further with longtime producer Mher Filian on his forthcoming music, with their next chapter planned around his own 2027 release. Filian has already played a key role in shaping Jones’ sound, including her recent work, and their continued collaboration points to a relationship that extends beyond a single record or album cycle.
The album arrives during a major period of U.S. expansion for Nicole. Following the release of LOSER in December 2026 — including the August release of the album’s leading single “LOSER,” the September release of “ALIEN,” and several other collaborations throughout the campaign with rising artist VINCENT.WTF, Supwel, and CHROMEBODIES, the new project from Hotel Garuda — Nicole will take the project on the road beginning in April 2027.
The collaborations further expand the sonic world of LOSER, bringing Nicole into conversation with artists and producers across alternative, electronic, and emerging music scenes while maintaining the emotional and experimental thread running through the album.
The U.S. tour will launch in Los Angeles with 15 shows, including performances at venues such as The Troubadour, Hotel Café, and The Wiltern, before continuing through Las Vegas, New York, and college towns across the U.S.
For Bloom Music, Nicole’s label, the focus is on introducing her to new audiences across America and building a lasting relationship between the artist and her U.S. fanbase. The 2027 tour will extend the LOSER campaign beyond the record itself, bringing Nicole’s music and wider creative world directly to audiences across the country.
That world doesn’t stop with the music.
Nicole’s artist merchandise, DASH Los Angeles, has grown into an extension of the visual identity and creative universe surrounding her as an artist. What began as merchandise for Nicole’s fans has developed into a beauty-focused platform that allows her to connect with listeners in a different way, bringing together music, self-expression, imagery, and direct-to-fan culture.
With support from Bloom Music founder + A&R Tim Jeanneret, Nicole has expanded the concept into an e-commerce presence while also making DASH available directly to fans through Spotify. The result is an artist ecosystem in which the music remains at the center, while the things Nicole creates around it give fans additional ways to enter her world.
The approach follows a path increasingly visible among artists such as Rihanna and Selena Gomez, who have demonstrated how an artist’s creative identity can extend naturally into beauty and become another form of connection with an audience.

Electronic textures, trap-inflected production and a more nocturnal, immersive atmosphere give “RAIN” its own weather system. It is sleek enough for the club, emotionally restless underneath, and unmistakably part of the same world — just viewed from a different angle.
Created alongside VINCENT.WTF, the project explores the space between electronic pop, experimental R&B and trap, with shimmering production and a deliberately effortless quality. Las Vegas, 2027
The collaboration will move beyond the studio next year, with Jones and VINCENT.WTF set to perform together across a series of Las Vegas club shows in 2027, supporting “RAIN” and several further releases from the project.
The live shows will become an extension of the world they are building together — part club environment, part pop performance, with the two artists bringing the project into a more immersive setting.
