Miami alternative rage rapper Harlem is building real momentum outside the algorithm, making moves that are putting more attention on his sound and growing catalog. His breakout single, “Wick Mode,” produced by Tatsuya (Maximo Goncalves), stands out as a key record from his album Harlem Deluxe. The release recently received coverage from Folded Waffle, which published a review of the project, while RGM approved it the same week. With a sound rooted in alternative rage and an independent approach to building his audience, Harlem is continuing to establish his presence beyond the usual social media hype.
Harlem’s momentum is also translating to the stage. He performed at The Mayan in Los Angeles on Oct. 4 and is preparing to release a free mixtape on Oct. 31.
