International artist, composer, and producer Veronica Vitale (IVEE) has been officially nominated for three major categories at the International Singer-Songwriters Association Awards 2026:

Single of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and USA Female Rising Star.

The nominations recognize Vitale’s powerful and genre-defying work on her latest release, I Am a Woman, a spoken-word and alternative performance that confronts systemic inequality, gender bias, and the psychological impact of societal narratives on women. The ISSA Awards ceremony will take place on August 22, 2026, at the Byers Theatre in Georgia and will be broadcast globally via Roku TV.

Veronica Vitale: A Voice Beyond Genre

Known for her concept of “Genre Dissolution” and the creation of immersive “Soundworlds” Veronica Vitale continues to redefine the boundaries between music, performance, and narrative. Her work operates at the intersection of art, advocacy, and sonic experimentation, positioning her as a distinctive voice within the international music landscape.

The song-manifesto I Am a Woman by Veronica Vitale confronts the quiet but pervasive reality of gendered ageism, where women are conditioned to fear time while men are allowed to grow through it. In a culture shaped by the double standard of aging, a woman’s worth is too often tied to youth, visibility, and approval, while her evolution is framed as decline. This anthem challenges that narrative at its core. It rejects the idea that a woman must remain unchanged to remain valuable and instead reframes aging as expansion, authority, and lived truth. Through sharp, unapologetic language, I Am a Woman exposes the imbalance, dismantles inherited expectations, and reclaims time as something that belongs equally to women, not as something to survive, but as something to embody without permission.

The track was mastered by Grammy-winning engineer John Greenham, further underscoring the production’s high-level industry standard.

An International Journey Rooted in Vision

Originally from southern Italy and now based in Los Angeles, Vitale has built her career independently over the past decade, earning recognition as one of the Top 10 Italian female music producers in Hollywood. Her trajectory reflects a deliberate commitment to creative autonomy and long-term artistic vision, developed outside traditional industry pathways.

Beyond music, she is the CEO of Visionary Vanguard Records & Publishing, an independent label and creative platform supporting boundary-pushing projects across music and multimedia.

Artists at the 2026 ISSA Awards: A Rising Presence on the International Stage

The International Singer-Songwriters Association Awards, founded by Tamanie Dove, are recognized as one of the leading global platforms celebrating independent artists, songwriters, and producers across genres. With nominees and participants spanning multiple continents, the ISSA Awards highlight artistic excellence beyond mainstream industry structures, offering visibility to creators shaping the future of music through originality and independent vision.

Veronica Vitale’s three nominations position her among a select group of international artists whose work reflects both creative innovation and cultural impact within this global community.

Looking Ahead: The Purple Peace Project

How surreal is it to pick up your phone and find yourself in conversation with the brother of legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix? That is part of the reality Veronica Vitale now inhabits as she works closely with Leon Hendrix on an upcoming song and cultural movement rooted in unity, awareness, and collective expression. Together, the Vitale–Hendrix collaboration is developing Purple Peace, a no-war song, a march, a cultural initiative asking for peace, inspired by the legacy of the 1960s “Flower Power” movement and reimagined for a new generation. Through music and shared experience, Purple Peace explores themes of love, unity and peace while addressing the growing disconnect and cultural misunderstanding that shape today’s social and political climate.

A Distinct Voice in a Changing Industry:

In addition to her recent nominations, Veronica Vitale has also received a personal letter of recognition from NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California (ARTEMIS II) further highlighting the interdisciplinary reach of her work and its resonance beyond the traditional boundaries of the music industry.  Let’s pause for a moment: who, exactly, receives a letter from NASA praising the beauty of their work and calling it worthy? Veronica Vitale appears to be operating on a level where such moments are no longer improbable, but inevitable.

As both an artist and executive, Vitale’s work through Visionary Vanguard Records & Publishing reinforces her commitment to creative control and the development of projects that extend beyond the limits of conventional music releases.

One collaboration we would be eager to see take shape? A duet between Paris Paloma and Veronica Vitale,  a meeting of two distinct voices united by their untamed messages, intensity, and narrative power.
