36 Mudd took his first big check from rap & decided to move from a very very small town, which is his hometown Cairo, IL… he moved to a bigger part of Illinois known as Chicago, IL & it not only gave him more opportunity but it built his fanbase. As of right now there are 26 states playing his music and 10 of them are have well known cities in them. Even though Cairo, IL is small he it’s still ranking number 1 as far as where the love comes from. It’s great having your hometown support you. Memphis, Tennessee is a place where 36 Mudd has a fanbase. Chicago, IL is number 3 after Memphis and that’s excellent because 36 Mudd lives there.
Then you have parts of Arkansas, Baton Rouge, Louisiana… parts of Georgia, New York, Texas, Minnesota, & even fans in California which is quite wonderful for 36 Mudd knowing all the obstacles that the streets comes with. A Chicago journalist asked him what/who keeps him motivated & he said his kids, his lady, his brother who passed aka Folkz36 or Terrell Johnson… he stated that he has other brothers that make music and they motivate him. He made sure to shout them out during the interview because he’s big on “We all we got” & “We all can sit at the table and eat”…. Their names or PGM Dboy & DG Magician.
The journalist made mention that 36 Mudd is the only rapper she interviewed who didn’t mind shouting out other artists from his town as well. He wanted the world to check out LoweDown, NCK17, Monie300, Kickadoe Loco, Minista, NeroBeatz, D.Brown, Luh illy, Weeze, Bankroll Shaq, Derik Santana, & Glizzy. There were more but he didn’t have much time to name everyone.
The journalist stated that he was the only rapper she ever seen show love like that because most people gatekeep. 36 Mudd isn’t authentic. Now moving forward, his songs are climbing charts. The EP ‘Soul Steppin’ that he recently released with his brother Folkz36 is on fire right now just the the single he dropped called ‘My Way’… if you don’t see the how hard 36 Mudd’s going then it has to something wrong with you because this is a man who literally comes from the bottom and is climbing to the top in your faces. 36 Mudd isn’t up next, the journalist said he has the ball right now.
