Recording artist Ashley Paul continues to gain momentum at smooth jazz radio as her latest single, “| Just Had to Fall,” lands at No. 4 on the Smooth Jazz Network’s Most Increased Airplay chart for the week of August 24, 2026.
The track posted 25 additional spins, placing Paul among an impressive group of established smooth jazz artists including Boney James, Ledisi, Jazmin Ghent, Larry Carlton, Euge Groove, Gerald Albright, Adam Hawley, Jeff Ryan and Eric Darius.
The new chart movement marks another significant step in Paul’s evolving musical chapter as she expands beyond the dance and pop records that first introduced her to audiences and moves deeper into the adult Contemporary and smooth jazz space.
“| Just Had to Fall” was written by acclaimed songwriter Alan Rich and produced by Bizkit & Butta. The single showcases a more intimate side of Paul’s artistry, pairing her distinctive vOcals with a sophisticated, radio-ready sound that has continued to gain support from smooth jazz programmers.
