The co-executive producer’s influence helped bring UUu Tang Mask Man and Mickey Factz to the project, adding another layer to Dominion Hill Records’ 13-track anthology.

NEW YORK, NY — Dominion Hill Records’ BLAKTRILOGY Vol. 3 is drawing five-star reviews and entering the conversation for hip-hop album of the year, with social media posts and online magazines recognizing the project. The 13-track various-artist album marks the third and final chapter of the BLAKTRILOGY anthology, bringing together established voices, emerging artists and collaborators from across hip-hop.

For this final installment, longtime industry executive Supreme Mayo  joins Rhasun “Sun” as co-executive producer. His involvement and contribution will continue to be part of the album’s rollout.

“Supreme and I have collaborated on business since the ’90s,” says Rhasun. Their partnership grew from years of shared work in the music business. Supreme joined the project to help bring artists and producers together and to contribute his experience to an album shaped by their history as brothers and business partners.

Supreme is also known for his connection to Wu-Tang-affiliated releases. Among the milestones he cites is an appearance on Wu-Tang Forever, the quadruple-platinum album, with its certification plaque displayed on his wall.

That industry history meets Sun’s personal story in BLAKTRILOGY Vol. 3. The series began in 2006, when Sun and his cousin Khalil sold the first volume from the trunk of a Lincoln Navigator. Two decades later, Sun founder and CEO of Dominion Hill Records has brought the anthology to its final chapter, following earlier label milestones with Koch Records and Select-O-Hits and the label’s distribution partnership with Roc Nation Distribution.

Sun has described the 13 tracks as a connected story rather than a random collection of songs: “It’s a soundtrack to my life, from the early ’90s through the 2000s.” The album’s concept began with “87 Daytona,” featuring Brand Nubian’s Sadat X, Sun and G Money a record Sun has described as a connection between New York and Ohio.

The tracklist spans Wu-Tang and Killarmy connections, including Killa Sin, Inspectah Deck, Solomon Childs, Shogun Assason and DJ Flipcyide; New York hip-hop veteran Sadat X; and artists including Mickey Factz, Bizz the Prince, Hoffa, L-Heckto H-Donuts, Manny Divine, Joe Spech, Taliifah and Detin8. The late DJ Kay Slay also appears on “The Joker,” honoring his involvement in the earlier BLAKTRILOGY albums and his place in New York hip-hop history.

BLAKTRILOGY Vol. 3 is available now on Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal through Roc Nation Distribution.
