Mack played a key role in structuring and helping close the agreement, which centers around new opportunities connected to the group’s celebrated music catalog and long-standing cultural influence.
Total — widely recognized for their work during the golden era of Bad Boy Records — rose to international prominence with a string of hits and collaborations throughout the late 1990s. As part of the transaction, Pamela Long, a founding member and primary songwriter behind many of the group’s most recognizable records, has officially sold her music catalog. The catalog includes contributions to several iconic releases associated with the group, including collaborations tied to songs such as Hypnotize, the classic record by The Notorious B.I.G. that helped define the Bad Boy Records era and remains one of the most influential hip-hop records of all time. The transaction reflects the growing demand among investors for culturally significant catalogs from the 1990s era of R&B and hip-hop.
Delfino’s role in the transaction reflects his growing influence within the music catalog acquisition and artist services sector. As Chief Commercial Officer at NSU Global, he works closely with CEO, friend longtime business partner Kendall Newsome to connect artists, rights holders, and institutional buyers in high-value music rights transactions.
