G-Unit, minus Kidd Kidd, headed to Hot 97 this morning to take over. Fif, Buck, Banks, and Yayo joined Ebro and co at the station for over an hour to talk about a plethora of topics. The group spoke on what drove their reunion, Spanish women, TV shows, what is next for them, social media, the NYC rap scene and more. Fif expresses his disappointment in the current state of East Coast rap saying, “New York artists say they ‘trappin’ out the bando.’ From New York to New Jersey coming out with that content-it’s almost like you lost what hip-hop was in the very beginning.” He also added, “Bobby Shmurda’s joint is a Chief Keef record to me. It sounds like drill music to me.”
