The singer formerly known as Christopher Edwin Breaux to people that know him, was attempting to legally change his name to Frank Ocean in November of last year, however the judge denied his request. The basis of the denial stemmed from a few unpaid tickets, and suspended driver’s license the singer hadn’t taken care of. Well, it seems as if Ocean cleaned up his driving record, because his name change was just approved today in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. As if any of us called him anything else it is now set in stone that the crooner is now legally Frank Ocean.
