The 2015 VMA’s aren’t too far away & it’s about that time for the nominee’s to be revealed. The nominee announcement will take plae tomorrow, July 21st, exlcusively on Apple Music’s Beats1 Radio at 10am EST/7am PT during the “Chart” show.
The actual 2015 Video Music Awards will air Live on Sunday, August 30th at 9pm ET/PT.
Starting today, MTV and Beats 1 will launch a 24-hour countdown across each brand’s various digital and social platforms that will point fans to the live announcement the following day. Immediately following the announcement on Beats 1, voting for the 2015 MTV VMA categories will go live at 11:00 a.m. ET / 8:00 a.m. PT at vma.mtv.com.
The announcement kicks off the campaign for the LIVE VMAs telecast that will air on Sunday, August 30 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV from the Microsoft Theater, formerly Nokia Theatre L.A. Live. The 2015 “MTV Video Music Awards” will air across MTV’s global network of channels in more than 160 countries and territories, reaching more than half a billion households around the world.
