“RedEye” is the new anthem for all the hustlers out there burning the candle at both ends to get what they deserve. It’s also the latest single from Harlem-repping artist Choo E. Lou, who’s gearing up to release his new mixtape, PPF: I’m Always Gettin’ It.
The track’s gritty, hazy instrumental produced by Dee Aye, complements the equally hungry and smoked-out mindset of Lou. He may come across as a no-nonsense type of guy through his gruff flow and rhymes, but he’s also a proud father and all-around hard worker who calls Nas and Lil Wayne his biggest influences. Like those two living rap legends, Lou makes it clear on “RedEye” that he can find a balance and kick back with top-shelf bottles and blunts packed with only the finest green.
