The Houston Rockets after two games look like the smartest team in the NBA. After a blockbuster trade sent sixth man of the year James Harden to Houston from Oklahoma City the bearded wonder is tearing up the scoreboard.
Following a 37 points, 12 assists and six rebound performance in a 105-96 win against the Detroit Pistons in his debut on Wednesday night Harden drops 45 in a 109-102 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night .Harden’s previous career high was 40 points against the Phoenix Suns on April 18 2012. Jeremy Lin adde 21 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists while philly native Marcus Morris added 17 points.
The Rockets next game is tonight and it the home opener against the Portland Trailblazers. I’m sure all eyes will be on Harden to see what he will do as a encore to his career high 45 point outburst.
