What a year for Cam Newton. 5 years after coming into the NFL, Cam Newton is set to play in his first Super Bowl (SB50 tonight) and last night he earned the honors of being named the 2015 NFL MVP! So thats a Junior College National Championship, NCAA National Championship, Heisman Trophy, NFL Rookie Of The Year and now NFL MVP and Offensive Player Of The Year for Cam Newton who received 48 out of 50 votes possible votes. Carson Palmer and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady received the other two votes.

Not only was Cam Newton named the NFL MVP, he also was named AP’s Offensive Player of the Year. Cam wasn’t the only Panthers member to walk away with honors, his head coach Rivera was named the 2015 coach of the year. Congrats to Cam Newton on his MVP and Offensive Player of the Year honors. The Carolina Panthers face the Denver Broncos tonight in Super Bowl 50 at 6:30 pm.
