After being released by the Atlanta Falcons, pro bowl kick returner Devin Hester is back in the NFL after agreeing to a one year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.
According to NFL.com,
The prominent return man will sign with the Baltimore Ravens, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday, per a source informed of the situation. Hester worked out twice and passed a physical.
The 10-year veteran only appeared in five games last season for the Atlanta Falcons. Hester has 19 career return touchdowns, putting him amongst the best all-time at the position. He played eight years with the Chicago Bears before spending the last two seasons with the Falcons.
The plan to sign the 33-year-old Hester came when the team cut former Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds.
The Ravens open the 2016 NFL season on Sunday September 11th as they host the Buffalo Bills. Stay tuned to HHS1987. Follow @eldorado2452 on Twitter and Instagram for all your sports news.
