In celebration of the release of Universal Pictures’ highly anticipated new film ALMOST CHRISTMAS, local Atlanta celebrities and influencers were in attendance during the VIP red carpet screening on Wednesday, October 26th at Regal Atlantic Station and HHS1987’s Terrell Thomas was on the scene. The screening featured an introduction by Mayor Kasim Reed and the film’s outstanding cast Danny Glover, Mo’Nique, Gabrielle Union, Omar Epps, DC Young Fly, Keri Hilson with filmmakers Will Packer and David E. Talbert were all in the building.

During the event we caught up with director/film producer David E. Talbert and his wife Lyn Talbert to discuss the overview of the film as well as how the writing, casting and production of “Almost Christmas” all came together. David and Lyn Talbert spoke on their relationship with director/producer Will Packer, the importance of modern urban holiday family films, the diversity of the cast and more.
