Last night the Atlanta Hawks played their first game of the 2017-18 NBA season at home in Philips Arena after starting the season on a five game road trip. The Hawks opened the doors of newly renovated Philips Arena in what was a homecoming of sorts for former Atlanta Hawks all-star Paul Millsap.
The Highlight Factory was rocking during the entire night. Atlanta native Killer Mike’s rap duo Run The Jewels performed a both halftime and post game yet despite the electric atmosphere, the Hawks weren’t able to tip off their home stand with a victory. The Hawks fell to the Denver Nuggets last night (105-100) to move on to a record of (1-5) on the young season.
