Earlier today, King Kendrick Lamar accepted the Pulitzer Prize award for his critically-acclaimed album DAMN. The committee’s president, Lee C. Bollinger spoke highly of the Compton emcee at New York City’s Columbia University before he accepted his award which made him the first rapper and non-classical/jazz act to win the award.
Another win for Hip-Hop, congrats K. Dot.
