Smokepurpp just released a head-spinning visual for “What I Please” featuring Denzel Curry, a track off his new album, Deadstar 2 – executive produced by Mike Dean. The video follows a recent wave of buzz on Purpp over comments he made in an interview regarding his choice to shelve a Kanye verse on “No Problems.”
Deadstar 2 is the highly anticipated followup to Smokepurpp’s 2017 debut album and is Executive produced by Mike Dean (Grammy award-winning producer who’s worked with Kanye West, 2Pac, Scarface, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Jay-Z, and Desiigner). Dean & Purpp connected through Apex Martin, who produced a lot of the songs. Apex has a good relationship with Purpp and is his DJ when he tours. The project has features from Lil Skies, Trippie Redd, Ty Dolla $ign, Moneybagg Yo, and Denzel Curry and Production from Murda Beatz, Ronny J, Go Grizzly, Apex Martin, and more!
